This is a Black 330 denier x 3 ply Supplex uncoated Nylon in a 57/58" width.

Perfect balance of strength versus breathability, commonly used for musher dog booties (uncoated (dwr only) reduces condensation that will freeze to the dogs paw). But this also makes really cool wind breakers and durable hiking clothing and such. One of the original board shorts were made of this.
