We carry the best polyester fleece on the market, Polartec®,
from Malden Mills. It will not
pill, is colorfast, and is easy to care for. You will see many patterns for
garments made from fleece material in the Patterns

Berber
Fleeces
Berber fleeces do not
have the loft or warmth of Polartec fleeces but do offer very attractive
patterns and colors for fashion clothing such as vests or jacket liners.
Malden Fabric Style 100 Weight Fleece is a single or
double-faced mid-weight high performance velour. Both the low pile face and fine
gauge knit back are highly resistant to piling. It is specifically engineered to
wick moisture away from the skin. Other polyester fleeces are
"hydrophobic", or water repelling. In Malden Fabric Style 100 Weight
Fleece, the fibers are chemically altered to make them "hydrophilic",
or water loving, which gives it an outstanding wicking ability. Comfort is also
enhanced by excellent breath ability and an adequate stretch factor.
Malden Fabric Style 100 Weight Fleece is a proven choice for
"expedition weight" underwear. It is also excellent for use as a liner, especially in
jackets. You'll also see it being used in all kinds of active wear, buntings,
hats and caps, even footwear.
Malden Fabric Style 100 Weight Fleece is also anti-microbial to
prevent bacterial growth on the fabric to help keep it looking and smelling
fresh.

Weight Fleece
Malden Fabric Style 200 Weight Fleece is a double-faced
pile fabric engineered with a unique process to provide water-repelling
properties for the life of the garment. This enables clothing to shed water and
dry faster to maintain comfort, even in wet conditions. Malden Fabric Style 200
Weight Fleece resists pilling and has superior insulating abilities. Comfort is
also enhanced by excellent breath ability and an adequate stretch factor.
It is a break through in pile fabric technology because this level of
performance has never been achieved at such light weight.
Malden Fabric Style 200 Weight Fleece is a proven choice for vests,
jackets and coats. You'll also see it being used in all kinds of active
wear like buntings, hats and caps, and scarves.
The additional insulation and the water wicking capabilities of Malden Fabric
Style 200 Weight Fleece really gives a considerable additional warmth
in cold weather.

Fabric Style 300 Weight Fleece
Malden Fabric Style 300 Weight Fleece is the top of
the line, heaviest weight fleece in the Malden Fabric Style; with more than twice the density of Malden Fabric Style 100
Weight Fleece. It's velvety rich double-faced velour construction has been
developed under a proprietary manufacturing process. It features an extremely
low pill finish (face and back) for lasting appearance under the most active
conditions. Malden Fabric Style 300 Weight Fleece is light and
nonabsorbent, dries quickly and retains body heat when wet. It is designed for
use as either a thermal layering fleece for extreme conditions, or as an
outerwear fleece under normal conditions. Most admirers find it to be a climate
control fabric, being very comfortable in a wide temperature range. Used alone
for all sorts of outer wear or as an insulating lining. Its high warmth to
weight ratio also makes it ideal for jackets, pants, vests, pull-overs, hats,
booties and mittens.

Malden Fabric Style 2000
Weight Fleece
Malden Fabric Style 2000 weight Fleece is thermal stretch
laminate combines the properties of a nylon/Lycra shell with a Lycra velour
inner surface. This is then bonded to a windproof, breathable barrier.
Four way stretch allows freedom of movement, and a body hugging fit without
sacrificing technical performance. The stretch velour surface features
high wicking/siphoning properties for quick drying and water shedding
properties.
Malden Fabric Style 2000 weight Fleece is designed for action sports
applications, especially water sports. It's also excellent for cycling and
ski wear. For underwater applications like wet suits, it is suggested for
temperate waters, or as a thermal layer under a dry suit.
The inner surface of Malden Fabric Style 2000 weight Fleece is a non-pill,
high performance velour. The outer surface is a highly abrasion resistant
nylon Lycra shell.

Malden Fabric Style Windbloc Fleece is a double-faced fabric which
incorporates a weather resistant but highly breathable barrier membrane
sandwiched between the high performance no-pill faces. A breakthrough in barrier
technology allows stretch and recovery for comfort and ease of movement, plus
the fabric remains soft, drapable, and quiet. The face fabric is treated with an
advanced Teflon finish which is highly water repellent and stain resistant. The
inner fabric wicks moisture for active comfort.
Malden Fabric Style Windbloc Fleece is a proven choice for high
performance styles that are completely windproof and highly water resistant.
It comes in two face styles: a velour face and a soft, satiny micro
chamois face.

Stretch Fleece incorporates a touch of Lycra into both single and double-faced
high performance velour to add remarkable stretch and return capabilities. It is
excellent for active uses, where freedom of movement and close fit are
essential. Comfort is also enhanced by a high wicking ability and excellent breath ability.
Malden Fabric Style Power Stretch
Fleece is designed for action sports applications where both warmth and stretch
are needed. It works well for cross-country ski wear, skating outfits, and cold
weather jogging sets. Also great for fashion tops and tights.
