Ripstop

Ripstop is an amazing fabric because of its versatility, tensile strength, and lightweight characteristics. It is created from extremely firm yarns, tightly woven, giving it a ruggedness yet a very light weight and soft hand. Every quarter inch or less, a tremendously tough nylon cord is woven into the fabric from both directions. The word "Ripstop" literally means that even if a puncture is made in this fabric, a rip will stop because of this specially engineered fabric.  As with any other 100% nylon fabric, constant exposure to the sun will deteriorate the nylon fibers more than Polyester fabrics.

This fabric is permanently sealed with a unique "Enduracote" for superior water repellency under all weather conditions. It is also "down proof" and will not leak down feathers through the fabric.
